A beautifully balanced and concentrated Brunello di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Fragrant and rich with layers of ripe black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit. Can easily cellar for three years and then enjoyed for another eight. Pair with roast leg of lamb.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: grilled steak, roast leg of lamb, hard cheese, veal piccata.

Reviews and Ratings

Marchesi Antinori Pian Delle Vigne 2014 is a concentrated Brunello Di Montalcino with ripe cherry, red plum, dark chocolate, earthy spice and tobacco leaf flavours. Tannins are grippy and chewy and the wine would benefit from some time in cellar -- about three years. Better in 2021 to 2026. - Community Wine Reviews
