From the Burgundy wine region, Marchand-Tawse 2015 is a smooth, supple and rich Pinot Noir with cherry, blackberry, violets and grilled herbs on the palate. Great acidity for food. Produced by a joint venture between Moray Tawse, of Niagara's Tawse winery, and Burgundian winemaker Pascal Marchand. The Pinot Noir vines were planted in 1978 in the clay and limestone soils of Pommard, one of Burgundy's most respected communes. Enjoy now and for the next five years.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal scaloppini, beef, smoked salmon, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Santa please note, I love this wine! Bright garnet and highly fragrant with tart cherry, sous bois, vanilla and mocha notes. Great acidity, satiny smooth palate and elegant finish.

From the Burgundy wine region, Marchand-Tawse 2015 is a sexy Pinot Noir, smooth, supple and rich with cheery, blackberry, earthy florals and grilled herbs on the palate. Great acidity for food, it can be enjoyed with grilled salmon steaks or grilled lamb lollipops. - Community Wine Reviews
