Natalie's Score: 89/100

Vibrant South African white wine made from the country's aromatic and iconic Chenin Blanc grape, called Steen in the country. It's made from the winery's first, most flavourful and delicate free-run juice. This wine has lime energy and lift. Some green apple through the mid-palate with some white melon on a long finish. Amazing for the price point! Pair with fresh seafood.

Chenin Blanc food pairings: pizza, white fleshed fish, mild sausage, Greek salad, game.

Reviews and Ratings

Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This fresh, zesty Chenin Blanc is a great value. Notes of tropical fruit and honey are followed by lively lime and herbal flavours with well balanced acidity and minerality. This would be great paired with sushi.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great example of this varietal , made using only free-run juice(no pressing of grapes). Bright pear and apple aromas with clean tree fruit and tropical fruit flavours and great acidity. Super with chicken salad. When you're looking for a fresh, fruity white wine, this offers great value.

Man Vintners was founded in 2001 among three friends and their wives. To keep the peace, so the back label says, they named it for the first names of their wives: Marie, Anette and Nicky. Chenin Blanc thrives in the warm climate where these vines are planted. They only use free-run juice so no juice from pressing the grapes for the freshest, most pure flavours and delicacy in this wine. - Community Wine Reviews
