Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Sourced from the Wisner Vineyard, this Cabernet Franc was aged for 10 months in 25% new French oak, followed by four more months in neutral oak. Crafted in a softer, gentler style of CF with more elegance and grace than power and firmness. The nose opens with cherry and blackberry while cocoa, herb, and earth add dimensions. Firm acidity and soft tannins combine with a medium body to deliver a superbly drinkable red that would also suit a wide array of dishes encompassing vegetarian through fowl and pork all the way into beef, though on the medium-to-well-done range. Diverse palate combines cherry and raspberry with roasted red pepper, liquorice, cedar, and smoke, all of which persist through a respectably long finish. Pair with grilled and roasted foods to play off the smoky note, and work in favourite herbs to complement the wine's natural spice.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
