Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

God I love this wine. To me, it is summer in a glass. The aromas are enough to make me swoon: light, floral and lovely. On the palate, it shows floral, cranberry and ripe strawberry notes. It also boasts incredibly high acidity, making it perfect for canapés or backyard summer sipping. One of my faves at Taste Ontario, March 2017.
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Ultra-pale pink rosé made in the Provençal style of winemaking. It has a delicate, floral nose with additional notes of grapefruit, cherry, stone-fruit, fresh herbs, and wet stone. It's light to mid-weight, rich, elegant and subtle. Tastes heavenly and is mineral driven with savory herbs and pronounced white cherry, lemon/lime, honeydew melon, pear, strawberry, cream and some rosewater on the palate. The bone dry, long finish tastes of sweet, sweet cherry. One of my new favs. Great match with seasonal asparagus or artichokes. [Tasted March 2017 at Taste Ontario!]
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful wine. Seemingly delicate at first, but opens up to reveal aromas of fresh strawberry, rose petals, and cranberry. Beautifully balanced, strawberry and cherry also come through on the palate, coupled with bright acidity and a stony or mineral note. The acidity really makes this wine pop and also extends the finish. Just wonderful. Enjoy with smoked salmon or any seafood dishes.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Refreshing, tart, crisp and dry, this mouthwatering beauty is ready for patio season. Vinified with hand picked Pinot noir. Stone fruit, delicate on the palate, with refined minerality. Pair with pan seared white fish. Tasted April 2017. 90 points
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a particularly special offering from Malivoire. It's built around Pinot Noir with short maceration and fermented in a 'milk tank,' which has a more horozontal shape. This encourages leesy aromas from the yeast cells that colllect along the bottom of the tank. The result is a rosé with funky aromatics to contrast the wine's fruitiness.
The colour is extremely pale, salmon-pink.
The aromas are wonderfully exotic. Rosehip, wild strawberry, cranberry, heather, and flake pastry.
Overchilling this ruins some of the more interesting flavours. So as you sip it, leave it outsode the fridge. Look for more tart cherry and strawberry. Graham cracker, white pepper, and peachy too.
This would make a seriously good wine for a picnic, but it would be fantastic with cured hungarian sausage and corn chowder. Reviewer's choice!
