Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The 2020 Lady Bug is a cheerful, refreshing Rosé from Ontario, Canada's Niagara Peninsula appellation.

Crafted with mostly Cabernet Franc plus some Gamay and a small amount of Pinot Noir, the Ladybug has fresh, delicate, appealing aromas of strawberries, raspberries, melons and hints of herb.

The sensory experience continues with delicious flavours, more intense than the aromas although they express similar notes. And the mouthfeel hits the mark for a cool climate Rosé. Medium bodied, dry, ample acidity, a lovely lightly coarse texture, and a don’t stay beyond its welcome finish. I’m glad I opened this bottle.

I’ll serve this with a meal built around roast chicken.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful, aromatic, perfect for spring, and a wonderful choice every year! Aromas of strawberry, peach and melon. Medium bodied, dry on the palate, smooth and creamy texture and vibrant, fresh fruit. Refreshing and lovely. Enjoy with salmon, pork, or any seafood. Honestly, pair this with anything or just with some patio time in the afternoon sunshine.
