Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour with thick legs showing extraction signalling the "macho" style of this red wine. This full-bodied red has a fleshy nose of Bing cherries, plum, strawberry preserves, raspberry, red currant, vanilla, sweet spices. The palate is smooth with chocolate, toasted oak, licorice and nutmeg. Soft tannins and medium+ acidity. Length is long on an elegant finish. A Macho wine in touch with it's feminine side. Pair with seafood Paella, mushroom risotto, crudite plate. Enjoy over the next 3 years.
Tasted: January 2015
This Spanish red wine won a Gold Medal winner at the 2013 Mundus Vini International wine competition. Despite the marketing-driven concept in the name and label, it's decent juice for the money. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
