Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

What a lovely balance on this Estate Single Vineyard (ESV) 71% Riesling, 19% Gewurztraminer and 10% Pinot Blanc white wine blend from Lunessence Winery and Vineyards in Summerland, B.C. The 2023 Field White is brilliant pale gold in the glass with medium-intensity aromas of white summer florals, honeysuckle, citrus blossom, fresh melon, green plum and flinty mineral notes. Dry, medium-plus-bodied and balanced with amazing food-friendly acidity with a broad expanse of flavours, Field White is a mouthful of ripe and juicy, white-fleshed stone fruit, apple, pear, melon, Meyer lemon, mineral and subtle ginger spice smooth and silky on the palate. Beautifully balanced and fresh, this is a made-for-summer white wine, excellent chilled and very satisfying on its own but would be an amazing pairing to a salmon poke bowl. Tasted July 2024.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
