The 2017 Luna Nuda Pinot Grigio is pale straw in the glass with ripe golden apple, Anjou pear, white florals and fresh minerality on the nose with same on a creamy palate. Refreshing with crisp acidity. Great salad or fresh goat cheese wine. From the Alto Adige, Trentino wine region which borders Switzerland and Austria. This region is one of the oldest wine growing areas of the world producing premium Pinot Grigio.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: pasta with cream sauce, grilled chicken breast, summer salads, pork schnitzel.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Hand-crafted Pinot Grigio from Italy's Alto Adige Valley. Shows refreshing apple, citrus and minerality in excellent balance, with mouthwatering acidity. Enjoy with white fish, grilled shrimp, or Asian cuisine.
Tasted Feb. 2019
From the Alto Adige, Trentino wine region, Luna Nuda 2017 is a well-priced 100% Pinot Grigio Vigneti delle Dolomiti with fresh and crisp apple, pear, melon and soft citrus and mouth-watering acidity for food. I'm thinking poached whitefish or a pasta Primavera. - Community Wine Reviews
