Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This stunning Argentinian Malbec presents gorgeous aromas of damson plum, violet and black cherry. Full-bodied with silky tannins and a long, floral-plum finish. Tasted January 15, 2017.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An elegant and concentrated Malbec with typicity. Fruit sourced from a 70 year old vineyard in Argentina's Mendoza region, grown at an altitude of 960 meters above sea level. Deeply concentrated red and black berry, damson plum, dried herb, leather and forest floor. Offering great value, produced from a single vineyard, and aged for 14 months in oak followed by several years in bottle. Will be released March 2017 in Ontario Canada. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 91/100.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas and flavours of blackberry and raspberry. Flavours reveal tart cranberry and sour cherry alongside the bright acidity with bay leaf and tobacco lingering on the palate. Medium plus acidity, body and tannin. A, dry, delicious outstanding Malbec. Try with herbed grilled lamb chops.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous aromatics. Lots of cherry and black currant here. Not dense and cloying at all. There is a touch of pepper, coffee, and chocolate on the finish. Its simplicity almost belies its seriousness. 90 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Damson plums, ripe blackberries and hints of mocha in a dry, very smooth full-bodied Malbec from Argentina's Mendoza region. Lingering dark chocolate and mocha on finish.
Tasted Jan. 2017
Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Plums, ripe fruits on the nose. The wine is very smooth and silky tannin but doesn't have much complexity to it
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe berry, plum, graphite, and violets on the nose with intense tart cherry acidity, juicy black plum, cacao nibs and leather flavours. The mouthfeel is satiny smooth with a long cherry finish. Enjoy with sirloin beef kebobs. Tasted Jan 17 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
