A lovely Burgundian Pinot Noir with tart cherry and earth notes. Lots of racy acidity for roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tart and mouthwatering juicy raspberry, cherry, minerality and cranberry on the palate. A great pairing with baked salmon, herb roasted chicken, seared tuna steaks. Drinking well on it's own likewise. Burgundy and Pinot Noir are synonymous and this wine offers great value at an accessible price point. Tasted Jan 2017 decanted for 2 hours. Rated 89/100.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lots dark cherry, raspberry and earthiness on the nose and on the palate. Medium bodied with a lingering cherry finish. Easy drinking and a crowd pleaser - classic Burgundian Pinot Noir.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby color with nice aromas of tart cherry.

On the palate, it's light, medium long and perfumed.

Serve it with chicken or turkey dishes.
Serve it at 14-15 degrees.

Ready to drink now.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A typical burgundy - aromas of red currant and raspberry and a bit of smoke. A nice balance of acidity, tannins and fruit. A bit of beet and pepper on the palate. Medium body and finish. Pair with a grilled pork tenderloin. Tasted January 15, 2017.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby. medium-low intensity aroma of strawberry and raspberry and a hit of smoke. Light body, light tannins, medium finish of sour cherry. Score 86. (S.Segard, Reviewed Jan. 15/17)
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Uber raspberry and smoky flint aromas upfront with moderate acidity and mild tart cherry flavours dominating the finish. Acidity is lower than expected for a Louis Latour Bourgogne. This Pinot is easy drinking, light bodied and crowd pleasing. Tasted Jan 17 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A classic Burgundian Pinot Noir…
Presentation: Classic and elegant, although the top label is not as elegant and refined as the main label.
Appearance: Pale ruby
Nose: A light nose with red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), cedar, forest floor
Taste: Dry, low-to-medium tannins, high acidity, light bodied, with notes of sour berries, blackcurrant leaf, and earth
Finish: Medium earthy finish
Overall impression: A classic example of a Burgundian Pinot Noir, with a well balanced offering of fruit and earth…
Value: 3.5/5
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

This wine is kind of all over the place, with its red cherry and herbal flavours not quite coming together. Not the best effort from this producer. 85 Points (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
