Ultra dry and acidic but balanced. Firm grip on the palate with tannins yet tasty. Smoke and campfire swirl around dark red dried fruit. Finishes with smoke and earth. Pair with a tangy tomato sauce.

Chianti Classico food pairings: breaded veal cutlets, stuffed turkey roasted, meat lovers pizza, cobb salad.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Le Bandite Riserva Chianti Classico from Siena, Italy is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Ripe cherry nose, with a touch of mocha, then the palate gives lots of ripe cherry, subtle spices, mocha and oak, from 21 mos. oak aging. Dry with a spicy cherry finish.
