Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lone Birch Syrah has a bouquet opening with dark plum, black cherry, and smoked paprika. Flavours reveal plummy undertones and lingering cherry fruit carrying into the back. Medium acidity and tannins balance nicely with a firm, yet plush finish. Try with peppercorn pate and meat pies.
The wine grapes for Lone Birch 2016 Syrah are estate-grown. Always beautiful poise and elegant on this flavoursome, juicy and bright Syrah. Supple and velvety with layers of bright cherry, red plum, blueberry mint, lavender, thyme and sweet spice flavours on the palate. Grapes are sourced from the winery's 830-acre estate vineyard in the Yakima Valley - Community Wine Reviews
