Magnificent for the price point! Floral with fleshy ripe peach yet airy and refreshing. Medium-bodied with a peach blossom finish. Slight sweetness lends food versatility, yet it's not at all cloying. Pair with fresh seafood.

Riesling food pairings: Thai or Indian dishes, melons, soft cheese, curries.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wonderful entry level Pfalz QbA at $15. Intense aromas of apricot, lychee, blossoms, honey and sweet spices. Aromas are pretty much repeated on the palette culminating in a long rich finish. Good acid to fruit ratio keeping everything balanced. Elegant and thoroughly enjoyable German Riesling. Pair with your good mood. Pair it with your bad mood and you're a butterfly. Great price performer.

Since 1520, the Lingenfelder family has owned and made wine from this Pfalz region estate. Enjoy with medium spicy dishes. Winemaker Rainer Lingenfelder has created an outstanding Riesling here that will appeal to many palates. This "Bird Label" is part of his Vineyard Creatures series. - Community Wine Reviews
