Lusciously big pineapple and tropical fruit notes with a round, viscous mouth-filling texture and a toasty vanilla-caramel finish. Great price for big Californian Chardonnay. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: pasta, hodge podge, lobster with mayonnaise, honey-garlic chicken, pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich medium lemon colour in the glass. This wine is medium+ in body ,dry with medium+ acidity. This is a lovely California chardonnay. Rich and creamy with subtle oak. Apple, pear, tropical fruit, vanilla, butter, honey , hint of flinty minerality. Quite simply a pleasure to sip. Drink over the next 3 years.Shellfish and seafood please.

Generous oak aging on this Californian Chardonnay. The grapes are sourced from the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County in California. - Community Wine Reviews
