Reviews and Ratings

Colleen Fitzgibbons rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

2014 was a good year in Saint Émilion and this wine shows well. Complex aromas of ripe juicy black plums, cassis, baking spice, earth, cedar, new leather, tobacco and star anise. These carry through to the palate although the taste is more red than black plum with some cherries, prunes, mint, cocoa, vanilla and spice. Solid acidity and round tannins are well balanced creating a smooth and lucious mouthfeel.
Medium long finish. Pair with grilled duck breast with blackberry confit.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous red fruit, black cherry and tobacco on the nose and palate. Soft tannins and silky body. Long juicy finish
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dark cherry, ripe raspberry and earthy mushroom aromas repeat on dry palate. Enjoy with a rare steak.
Tasted Nov. 2018
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is yummy bordeaux (despite the price). 2014 is a good vintage for saint-emilion. This wine has a good and rich fruits, medium body, a bit of green aftertaste and chewy tannin on the finish. It would go well with stews or more gamey meat dishes.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of dried fruit, black cherry, crushed rock, liquid smoke, tobacco, and a touch of linzer torte on the finish. 90 Points.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby colour with pronounced notes of dark plum, prunes, blackberry compote and soft smoke. Flavours show crisp minerals, red plums, soft delicate cherry and raspberries. Acidity is Medium plus with a matching body and medium finish. Tannins are elegant and silky. Needs a little more age - 89 points - tasted November 2018
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Les Terrasses de Saint Christophe 2014, from the Left Bank of Bordeaux in Saint-Emilion, is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. This wine shows lovely aromas of dark plum, blackcurrant, rose, black tea, caramel, pepper, leather and oak. Full body with a medium finish, this Saint-Emilion presents pleasant tannins and acidity. In the mouth, dark plum, blackcurrant, hay, cigar box, pepper, salty caramel, and a touch of coconut and oak. This well made wine from Les Terrasses de Saint Christophe will pair well with red meat. Enjoy.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Stewed prune on the nose with black cherry, plum, tobacco and graphite on the palate. Finishes with medium tannins that are a bit grippy. Tasted November 2018.
Wineboy rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A touch dissapointing when one considers the price. 2014 was not a good year for Bordeaux. This wine has more structure from tannins and I'm concerned the lighter level of fruit will fade long before the tannins soften and smooth.
From Saint-Émilion, Les Terrasses De Saint Christophe 2014 is a Grand Cru Bordeaux red wine blend of 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc with dark fruit and savoury herb flavours on the palate. This vintage was awarded Platinum in Best Right Bank Bordeaux Awards. - Community Wine Reviews
