Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely , fresh summer Rose to greet the Summer Solstice, opening with mild cherry and raspberry fragrances, medium bodied with berry palate. Charming. Find it on the Rose table at LCBO.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

The first notable characteristic is the colour of this wine. A brilliant salmon pink. Lovely spring berries on the nose. first sip had me a little doubtful. Extra-dry with some bitterness. As we added food with the wine and it opened up in the glass it softened. The strawberry and floral flavours came through and matched nicely with chicken penne alfredo. Creamy cheeses and seafood would also pair well.
Quite delicate, in a pleasing way. Aromas of strawberry jam, red apple, and garrigue buoyed by a touch of mandarin orange. Zippy acidity brings a raspberry tang and orange-zest note. The finish is crisp and fresh. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013
