Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A full bodied wine with aromas of blueberries, red licorice, pot-pourris and cedar. The tannins are velvety and there are flavours of juicy dark berries and rich cocoa.

Tasted November 2017
Le Vieux Donjon (2015) is a Châteauneuf du Pape with a classic blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault wine grapes. Deep purple, full-bodied with rich layers of red and black fruit, this CNDP is drinking fantastic now and into the next decade. - Community Wine Reviews
