Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great value from this quality producing wine family from Stellenbosch. Not a heavy style: light oak influence with stone fruit, fresh pear and toasted nut characters. Nice weight on the finish. Try with poached salmon with watercress sauce @wrightwineblog
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Smoky oak dominates the nose and palate on this Stellenbosch Chardonnay. There is an underlying seam of citrus on the palate that attempts to break up the oak. Think California style but less rich and buttery. Pair with creamy pasta or chicken. Tasted January 2020.www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A South African Chardonnay with tropical fruit and nut aromas. Light-bodied with medium acidity and finish. Serve with seafood, poultry, firm fish or a rich cream sauced dish.
Le Riche 2017 Chardonnay is produced from wine grapes sourced from the Stellenbosch wine region. Chardonnay wine grapes were whole-bunch pressed with half the juice fermented in tank with the other half in oak. Lovely silky texture on the palate with ripe orchard fruit, lemon pudding and toasty flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
