Reviews and Ratings

finevines90 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A luxe and diversified Portfolio (2017).
Q1: Dark cherry, rich blackberry and baking spice meet the nose.
Q2: Velvety fruits on the palate with cocoa and pleasant caramel tones from the virgin oak.
Q3: Tannins are woven elegantly and don’t overpower the symmetry. The acidity is mild.
Q4: Closing (finish) is long.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Laughing Stock's Portfolio brings the best of the Naramata Bench and Osoyoos together in their flagship (Bordeaux) red blend. 2017 combines 48% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec, and 2% Petit Verdot to produce an expressive, fresh and balanced wine that's showing wonderfully now and will evolve beautifully over the next decade. Full bodied with soft tannins, this layered wine shows dark berries, plum, black cherry, cassis, fresh herbs, including Okanagan Black Sage, sweet tobacco, and hints of anise. Enjoy 2020-2030 with savoury roasts, firm cheeses, and mushroom risotto. Tasted October 2020. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
