Latium Morini Campo Leon 2012 is a 16.5% abv Amarone della Valpolicella from the Veneto wine region. The alcohol level on this wine is right up there with some fortified wines. So, it needs a roast side of beef to tame it. Look for black cherry liqueur, pepper and cocoa on the nose. The wine is robust, full-bodied and rich with dark fruit, cherry liqueur, dark chocolate and spice flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
