A gorgeous, peppery Carmenère from the South Okanagan, Osoyoos. Aromas of black plum and wild berries. Unfined and unfiltered with lots of stuffing. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a blockbuster estate Carmenère from South Okanagan, Osoyoos wine country. The winery is about as far south as you can go in BC without entering the United States -- and a great place to grow this heat-loving grape. This deep red wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered and is full-bodied and mouth-filling with flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum, dried thyme, fried bacon and a smooth and long savoury spice finish. Tannins are fine. So good with a garlic roast pork.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fantastic ripe plum and blackberry, slightly green, spicy and savoury. Paired well with charcuterie. Tasted 2015 vintage in May 2019. 90 points
