Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

HEAVY ZIN. jammy with loads of overripe dried fruit notes. Power of fruit is well matched with heavy oak treatment - not typical with ZIn. Oak comes across as cocoa and vanilla. It then dances back to a fruit dominated finish. Lovely. 14.8%
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is gorgeously fruited and spiced. Lots of plum, ripe cherry, briars, baking spice and fine oak. There's also cigar box here. Gorgeous for steak or stewed meats. 91 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of ripe blackberry, blueberry jam and some smoky notes. Smooth and full-bodied, ripe fruit and smoke on the palate. Medium tannins and a nice balance of acidity. Perfect with ribs or anything grilled with a bit of BBQ sauce.
Lange Twins Old Vine Zinfandel (2015) from Lodi, California is ripe red cherry, smoky vanilla and cake spice flavours on the palate. The winery is certified sustainable and the Lange family are fifth-generation winemakers. Pair with a rich vegetarian chili. - Community Wine Reviews
