Loads of toffee, butterscotch and caramel on the nose and palate from generous oak aging. A lovely chardonnay with tropical fruit and caramelized toffee notes from the oak aging. Full-bodied and round. They practise sustainable farming.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled white fish with fresh peach compote, pork skewers and a garden salad with lemon-juice dressing.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Made from sustainably grown grapes in Napa, California. This luscious Chard shows creamy vanilla and pineapple aromas, then an exuberant palate with tropical pineapple, guava, mango, vanilla fudge, buttery toast and slice of lemon to tie it all together. Full-bodied, creamy, satiny and sensuous with a long elegant finish. Wow!

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aromas appear inviting with honey, pineapple, and nectarine notes. While the palate is overwhelmed by tart citrus, grapefruit, pine and cedar flavours. This chardonnay shows puckering acidity and a long pithy finish. It seems that maybe a little bit of roundness and creaminess was lacking from my bottle. A lovely chardonnay with tropical fruit and caramelized toffee notes from the oak aging. Full-bodied and round. Tasty! Californian winemaker Morgon Zaninovich is the third generation in his family to make wine. His great-grandfather Rees T. Jenkins ranched and farmed in Lander, Nevada. - Community Wine Reviews
