Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Amazing value! Candied peach, apricot and honey goodness! Chill and enjoy with hard cheese - aged gouda, sharp earthy clothbound cheddar, and gorgonzola blue cheese. Tasted Oct 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I had the opportunity to taste through many of the Lakeview icewines, and they offer some amazing value. And the wines are delicious! This Vidal icewine has aromas of orange marmalade, cinnamon and honey. Full bodied, smooth, and luscious on the palate with lots of ripe, jammy fruit and a honeyed, slightly spicy finish. Enjoy with a warm apple tart.
Produced by Lakeview Cellars Estate Winery, a lovely 200 ml size Vidal Icewine, just perfect for a treat with blue-veined cheeses or fresh fruit custard flan, or add a splash in a sparkling wine for brunch. On the nose, this icewine is fragrant with ripe peach and apricot aromas. On the palate, it is softy sweet with honeyed peach, apricot, mineral flavours, perfectly balanced with zingy acidity. Pair with a fresh fruit cup or something as rich as foie gras. - Community Wine Reviews
