Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon icewine with aromas of jammy cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Full bodied, rich, and smooth, with robust cooked fruit notes, moderate acidity, and a touch of honey on the palate. Enjoy with blue cheese.
Jay Denney rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I tasted this wine beautifully paired with a dark chocolate flan. A liquid version of granny's homemade jams - lush with berries, sweet up front, tangy in the back.
From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Lakeview Cellars 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine is a medium-bodied, juicy, sweet and spicy bright plum, dark cherry and ripe red berry flavours on the palate. Chill and sip with dark chocolate studded with dried red berry and cherry fruit. This vintage was awarded Gold in the 2019 All Canadian Wine Championships. - Community Wine Reviews
Earthy and dark berry, plum and baking spice flavours on this Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Lakeview Cellars 2017 was awarded Silver in the All Canadian Wine Championships Red Icewine category. - Community Wine Reviews
