Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This 2014 Chardonnay from Lake Sonoma Winery, located in the Russian River Valley, California releases delightful aromas of cooked pineapple, banana and yellow apple. Fresh honeysuckle, buttery vanilla and oak will fill your glass with harmony. Full bodied, this Chardonnay reveals warm flavors of yellow apple, pear, honey, vanilla, butter and a Californian dose of oak. With its long finish, the Lake Sonoma Chardonnay makes a nice and warm evening sipper. Enjoy.

Christian Marcoux
Lake Sonoma 2014 is a classic Russian River Valley Chardonnay with lemon curd, spiced honey, vanilla and creme caramel flavours on the palate. Nice weight on the palate and finishes with good acidity. This one is perfect for roast quail stuffed with wild mushrooms and leeks. - Community Wine Reviews
