Love the mouth-watering juiciness upfront: embrace acidity -- it is your friend and makes wine come alive in the glass and dance with food. Loaded with black cherries and smoky oak with a plus texture and full-bodied weight. Very satisfying wine from SRH (Santa Rita Hills).  Finishes with dark spice, chocolate mocha and hedonistic happiness. Try it with grilled chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled salmon, grilled lamb with mushrooms and green onions, grilled beef, roast chicken, pork tenderloin.

A full-bodied, robust Californian Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills which is a small appellation at the western end of the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County. The valley runs east west leading to the Pacific Ocean. In the early afternoon, cool breezes blows up the valley followed by evening fog which lingers until mid-morning. This creates the southernmost Region 1 in the northern hemisphere, which has one of the longest growing seasons in the world. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
