Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Medium lemon deliciousness; light bodied, dry , crisp and bright. Wonderful aroma of sweet lemon, almost like dry lemon curd, with a strong saline note. The lemon curd and saline carry over into the taste , and with the wonderful brightness and crispness, make this wine an incredible match for smoked salmon. The wine is also very pleasant to drink on its own.
La Vigne Blanche 2017 is a dry Chablis, pale-straw colour in the glass with white florals, flint and zesty citrus nose. The Chardonnay wine grapes for this wine are sourced from the Viré-Clessé appellation in the Burgundy wine region. Look for lemon custard, briny, vanilla and hazelnut flavours on the palate from ageing on its fine lees. Mouth watering acidity makes this wine a great candidate for rich seafood and grilled shellfish dishes. This vintage was awarded Gold in the 2018 Burgondia competition. - Community Wine Reviews
