La Torre 2016 Brunello Di Montalcino is a richly-layered Brunello from the Tuscany wine region. Produced from 100% Sangiovese, the nose on this wine is intense with ripe sweet-tart cherry, dried tobacco leaf, savoury herb and dark spice flavours on the palate. From a warm and excellent vintage. Good now, better in 2023.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: slow-braised blade roast, roast pork shoulder, veal Parmesan.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
