Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

"Peaches and Cream" is how La Frenz describes their delicious value priced Chardonnay. 50% barrel fermented in premium french oak, 50% in stainless steel, La Frenz has skillfully balanced the refreshing fruit with the toasty oak to create a great California style Chardonnay that displays the best of both worlds (fruit and oak).

The nose is full of tropical and orchard fruit, butterscotch, and the palate is creamy and round, with pineapple, peach, leading to a long creamy finish.

Tasted September 2013 and November 2013. 91 points.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Nov 23, 2013: Medium gold, intense nose of peach, ripe apple, honeydew melon, citrus, butterscotch, vanilla bean baking spice and dusty minerality. Palate is full, rich and creamy with a sweet entry repeating the nose and adding tropical fruit notes. Great balance and long finish. Great job with depth and ripeness of fruit while keeping the alcohol down at 13%. Drink over the next few years with roast chicken.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
