Black cherry liqueur richness and concentration on the nose and palate. Layered complexity on this full-bodied red wine made from grapes grown on 60-year-old vines in a 5-acre vineyard with soils of decomposed limestone over red clay. Aromas of black fruit, cedar brush and smoke with a long finish. Classic. Stéphane Vedeau is winemaker.

Reviews and Ratings

Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Light aroma of predominant strawberry. Balanced acidity and light tannin. Not a particularly long finish, but all and all a solid Grenache-Syrah blend that you would expect from the Rhone valley.
This robust red wine is a final blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah that matured in stainless steel tanks with a small portion aged in small oak barrels. Source: Winery

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
