Stunning Californian Pinot with the richness and depth that's rarely paralleled i this state. The cool-climate of Monterey is definitely an influence here. Fleshy wild berry notes, some spice. Pair with many chicken and seafood dishes.

Pinot Noir food pairings: prime rib, roast quail, stuffed chicken, venison burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Yum! A terrific California Pinot Noir! Super delicious and smoky with fresh cran-cherry notes, it would be ideal with Big Green Egg smoked poultry or gourmet burgers. Tasted August 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Paul rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very well made, especially for the price. Open at least 2 hours before dinner.
Cooling ocean breezes sweep through this winery's vineyards each day offering the ideal setting for cool climate winegrowing. Monterey is one of California's longest growing seasons when it comes to wine grapes. La Crema winery's Pinot Nir grapes are planted on benchlands in the northern reach of the region. - Community Wine Reviews
