Butterscotch and baking spice on the nose of this lovely, voluptuous Californian Chardonnay. Cool climate viticulture comes through in the glass with a terrific balance and acidity. Pair with chicken a la king.

Chardonnay food pairings: beef bourguignon, crab cakes, pork tenderloin, grilled seafood.

Terrific premium Sonoma Chardonnay. Big and creamy with a grippy finish. Incredible with rich mushroom dishes and roasted poultry. Tasted August 2015. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

One of my favourite California Chards, LA CREMA from Los Carneros has a rich nose with ripe pineapple and hints of butterscotch, followed by a delicious palate showing ripe tropical fruit and butterscotch with enough citrus for balance and to keep the acidity just right. Long rich creamy finish.
Cooling breezes and rolling fogs on the Carneros hillsides lengthen the hang time of grapes in this Californian region producing intensely flavours grapes and wines. Mouth-filling and delicious. - Community Wine Reviews
