Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An opaque dark ruby Cab Sauv with slow legs, a nose of raspberry and touches of mint. The palate gives red berries, mint, green pepper, earth and slight oak. Full-bodied, medium fruity finish.
The vineyards for the Kunde Family winery are planted along three kilometres of the Sonoma Highway. Most of the vines find their roots in rust-coloured volcanic soils called Red Hill. This was created when lava flowed and hardened five million years ago. The Kunde winery produces wines from 20 different grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
