Krone 2021 is a cuvée Cap Classique rosé bubble from the Western Cape wine region in South Africa. Produced in the traditional method like champagne from a blend of mostly Pinot Noir with some Chardonnay, it is dry, ultra-balanced with a creamy, leesy mousse of bright strawberry, ripe cherry, soft citrus and minerally flavours on the palate, Absolutely lovely in the glass, bright and zesty on the palate and easy on the pocket book.

Rosé Cuvée Sparkling food pairings: grilled salmon, seafood bites, spring greens salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of lemon pith and zest, strawberries, and a hint of orange blossom. Bright and zesty on the palate, with more tart citrus and berry notes, along with hints of yeast and a dry finish. Bubbles are persistent and crisp. Enjoy with smoked salmon appetizers.
From Twee Jonge Gezellen in the Western Cape wine region, South Africa, Krone 2021 is a cuvée Cap Classique rosé bubble produced in the traditional method from a blend of mostly Pinot Noir with some Chardonnay. Deep coral colour in the glass and rich with red berry, strawberry, citrusy and toasty flavours on the palate, it is dry and ultra-balanced with a creamy, leesy mousse and a long finish. - Community Wine Reviews
