A summer field of ripe strawberries and raspberries to tickle your senses and bare feet. Medium-bodied and sweetly perfumed. Incredible price. A lovely German red wine from the iconic grape Pinot Noir. Great price, very modern style. Finishes with fleshy raspberry. Try it with seared tuna.

Pinot Noir food pairings: sweet-sour pot roast, spaetzle, red cabbage, frankfurters, goat cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

This Pinot Noir is from the south of Germany where they really know how to make Pinot Noir. Baden Qualitätswein Königschaffhauser Steingrüble (2015) is a ripe red berry, sweet spice and blue flowers (on the nose) Pinot Noir with a very light toast. PNs from the Baden region are fresh, with light sweet spice and ripe, crushed red berries. This is your light to medium-bodied PN that is a perfect pairing to cedar-planked salmon, pork sausage cassoulets and wild mushroom soups or risottos. Very versatile. - Community Wine Reviews
