Reviews and Ratings

This voluptuous Californian Chardonnay sets the benchmark for all others. Gorgeous liquid opulence! Balanced, beautiful and robust. Butterscotch and green apple with hints of white peach on the nose. Creamy, plush, layered and luxurious. Pair this classic Californian Chardonnay with more of itself or Cornish hen. MINE: Kistler Les Noisetiers 2016 is a sensuous, full-bodied classic and elegant California Chardonnay. Buttery, opulent with ripe red apple, butterscotch layered and creamy. Drink now and pair with roast chicken or cellar for three to five years to see how it evolves and further develops. OTHER: The Kistler family has been making Burgundian-inspired Chardonnay and Pinot Noir since 1978. Vintage after vintage, this wine shows the heights of elegance and sophistication possible from the cool-climate Sonoma Coast while impeccably balancing power and elegance. Savour it over the next 8-10 years (Vintages Panel, updated). - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
