Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Exuberant coral pink Rosé, crisp and aromatic, with red fruit, strawberry and watermelon notes. Excellent fruit expression. Enjoy with black olive tapenade, goat cheese or steamed clams.
Tasted July 2018
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

this rose is a fuller style. Pair it with flavourful foods. finishes with a distinct walnut flavour.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted August 14th, 2018. Colour bright rose. Legs thin. Aromas and flavours of strawberry bubble gum sugar free, perfume of red fruits, tart cherry. Taste, dry, light body, mouthwatering plus, crisp red fruit, delicious apple peel. Finishes crisp and mouthwatering medium to long. What a good value in a dry rose. I found it can handle a traditional Greek salad. Pair with feta cheese. Recommend try.
Kir-Yianni Akakies 2017 is a great value, dry and vibrant Xinomavro rosé produced from wine grapes from the Amyndeon in the Macedonia wine region. Pair it with grilled eggplant. - Community Wine Reviews
