Natalie's Score: 90/100 Don't let the brilliant strawberry hue of this rosé fool you: this wine is bone dry and bursting with refreshment. Aromas of tiny flavour-packed field berries and a lick of orange zest on the finish. Perfect as a chilled aperitif or pair it with seafood, shellfish, salads and more rosé, of course. Previously, this wine has also been bottled in rounded shoulder bottle (like those for Cabernet) with the label name Pansy! Highly recommended.
Rosé food pairings: seafood, quiche, planked salmon, seared tuna.

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review: Don't judge a wine from its label (even though we all do). The colour might have you think it's going to be a sweet rosé but I assure you it isn't. The bouquet bursting with flavours of ripe strawberry, honey (and this might sound weird but I also smell hints of spicyness). Beautiful palette, well balanced acidity and great quality as you would come to expect from Kim Crawford. Great value at $18! I would pair this with a summer day at the cottage sitting on the dock. Also would also choose this as my first rosé of the season enjoyed looking out into my backyard, eagerly awaiting the snow to melt and the anticipation of summer. (Tasted March 26, 2017)
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A summer favourite! This rosey blend of malbec and merlot is unmistakably New Zealand, with aromas of grapefruit and grassiness, but on the palate it's a different beast than the Marlborough sauvignon blancs that the country is known for. The palate is floral, with notes of watermelon, rose water, green apple, minerality, and stawberry. This wine is dry but is so fruity one might think there is a hint of sweetness. The texture is rich and mouthwatering. Delicious and refreshing. Perfect for seafood, as an apéritif or just on its own. A constant winner.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: The colour of this rosé is so elegant and attractive, it immediately captures your attention and draws you in. Made from Hawkes Bay Merlot and Malbec grapes, the nose displays strawberry, cran-apple, and sweet melon notes. It's crisp, refreshing, and very well structured. A terrific wine to enjoy as an apertif, with spring and summer salads, pan seared fish, and shoulder season meals such as Thanksgiving dinner. Needless to say, it's also a great wine to wind down after a long day. Enjoy! Tasted April 2017. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Fun frisky salmon colour! The nose used to be richer, but is still enticingly fruity with its berries and green moss aromas. Quite full bodied but not sweet. It is more of a food wine than a poolside wine.
