What a gorgeous and exotically aromatic white wine! Redolent of apricot, peach and Asian pear with a smoky weave throughout. Medium-bodied with a clentine, floral finish. Perfect for medium curries and spices. Try it.

Marsanne Viognier food pairings: barbecued chicken, barbecued pork ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Light gold in colour, this Ontario offering shows tropical fruit, white citrus and an inviting smoky-stone aromas. Crisp flavours on the palate the get nicely contrasted by an oily texture. This one opens up and becomes more and more inviting as you go.

A great example of Ontario shining on!
Grilled pineapple, peach, applesauce, smoke and crushed rock aromas. Big and robust with oodles of smoke and rocks on the palate. This is not a timid wine, despite the doily character of the label. Pineapple and apple again on the finish. This will be an amazing partner for a dinner. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, July 2013
