This is the convenient half bottle size of this Chardonnay. The full bottle is also in this release. Butterscotch and vanilla smoke on the nose of this California chardonnay from toasty oak aging followed by green apple and white peach notes. Full-bodied and generous with a nice finish. Rich and creamy, this wine has a lovely mouth-filling texture and weight. Let's have it with roast chicken tonight!

Chardonnay food pairings: turkey burgers, smoked king crab legs, chicken breast, cheese, pork loin topped with pineapple.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

California Chardonnay that is anything but ABC. Quite possibly one of my favourite wines of the morning tasting. Silky smooth, rich, creamy and aromatic. Apple, pear, peach, tropical, floral, vanilla, toffee, butterscotch, yogurt, toast. Medium+ acidity pulls it all together. Full-bodied with a long buttery finish. Available in this convenient half bottle size. Nothing goes to waste. Perfect accompaniment for your traditional Christmas turkey dinner.
Enjoy through to 2018.

Kendall-Jackson's Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay is one of the best values available in Californian Chardonnay. Valued by Vintages customers for its consistent expressions of buttered toast, tropical fruits and sumptuous mouth-feel, it possesses a bright acidity that makes it a versatile food wine.
