Reviews and Ratings

Terry Dineen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Another tasty full blown smooth finish Malbec from the great 2013 vintage. Another wine I would recommend.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This 100% Malbec spent 12 months in French oak barrels. This full-bodied red wine is deep ruby in colour with aromas and flavours of red berries, violets, chocolate and smoke. Youthful tannins and medium balanced acidity. Pair with salted grilled red meats.
Tasted: August 2015
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Priya: Am I smelling cotton candy? No it’s wine, but boy does it smell sweetly delicious! Nice and spicy but still fruity, it’s like an opera in your mouth vs. an acoustic set. 86 pts

Alex: The antithesis to the aforementioned malbec, this one is inky, ultra-rich, and totally mouth-filling. Potent plum jam, nutmeg and vanilla slathered generously over a fruitcake is the aroma, then you're welcomed in with full-bodied richness, supple tannin and a spicy, perfumed finish. Like being covered with a wool blanket, it was indeed cozy - but a little too thick and warm for me. 84 pts
Kaiken is a wild goose that crosses the Andes between Argentina and Chile. If you can catch one, roast it and pair with this wine. Grapes are grown in the valleys of Uco, Vistalba and Agrelo and selected be winemaker Aurelio Montes. The wine is 100% Malbec and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
