This Argentine red wine blend offers savoury, dark plum and cedar brush aromas on the nose. This is a full-bodied well-priced Argentine. Lots of mocha and dark chocolate on the nose and palate from generous oak aging. Pair with chorizo sausages or jambalaya.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: game burgers, beef steak, rack of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Montes, this Terroir Series of wines was formerly called Kaiken Corte. This wine was matured in oak barrels for 10 months, both new and used French oak. The grapes for this wine are from the Vistaflores vineyard, planted 1,300 metres above sea level. It's a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes along with 12% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot grapes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
