Reviews and Ratings

Ruth Blakely WSET 3, FV Sensory 2 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This rich purple wine is the model of consistency. It’s opaque in the glass plummy with some cedar on the nose, full in the mouth with firm tannin and a medium finish. It’s a terrific value and it’s rare that the recommendation to friends isn’t met with great responses.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied, robust red made from Monastrell varietal. Lots of dark fruit, smoke and tobacco on nose and palate with spicy finish.
Tasted July 2016
The 4 Meses translate to 4 months and correspond to how long the wine was aged in a mix of French and American oak, which imparts the wine with a toasty note. This Spanish red wine is made from 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) from vines planted at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level in Jumilla. - Community Wine Review.
