One of the best nouveau wines year after year. This medium-bodied smooth red wine has remarkable character for being bottled so quickly. Attractive aromas of dark cherries. Great mouth-watering juiciness for roast turkey or chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Aromatic, juicy grapey nose, concord jelly and black tea. Gorgeous bright purple fruit throughout, with fresh acidity and en a caramel note - do not know where that's coming from, but i'll take it! love it with cassoulet, of course, braised pork bellies, or just plain old poke and beans.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A bright garnet red with watery edge in colour, An aromatic nose with vanilla, leather, dark cherries and slight spice. Multi-layered palate shows ripe cherries and cassis, leather, touch of tobacco, baking spices. Lingering spicy cassis finish.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2014 Beaujolais has arrived - and this is a beautiful expression of this varietal. Aromas of candied raspberries follow through on the palate. Subtle white pepper and a hint of acidity makes this a perfect pairing with your holiday turkey with cranberry sauce.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Good valued burgundy Pinot noir, with a complex nose of cherry, tea, and new leather. Medium acidity and low tannin make this a flexible wine with food or all on it's own.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This light-bodied wine displays flavours of kirsch, red cherry, with slight black pepper warmth. Fruit-driven and refreshing, pair this wine with gourmet pizza or beef tartar.
Drink now or keep through 2015.
Date tasted: November 2014.

This Beajolais Nouveau will be snapped up in Vintages. Lots of of aromas fo entice the sipper. Swedish berries, strawberry, cherry, candy floss, cedar, vanilla. Palate leads to more of sour cherry with warming black pepper. Refreshing acidity with mild tannins. Very easy drink. Just have fun with this one! Drink today!
