Superb! Class Gewürz : rose petal, lychee and baking spice aromas. Mouth-watering and dry yet exotically floral. Previous vintages of this wine won the Gold Medal at the coveted Concours Général Agricole in Paris. Medium-bodied and mouth-filling. Perfect for Asian dishes and mild to medium curries.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: ham, pork tenderloin topped with unsweetened apricot chutney, curried rice with cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium lemon in colour with pronounced aromas of lychee, passion fruit, apricot, honey, cardamom, cloves, and roses. This full-bodied white has refreshing acidity and the flavours last on the warming finish.
Drink now, or keep until 2015.
Enjoy on its own or pair with summer salads or pad Thai.
Date tasted: January 2014.
Awarded a Gold Medal at the 2012 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. A lovely smidge of sweetness adds to the perfumed prettiness of this floral, exotically spiced wine brimming with lychee fruit. Superb value from an acclaimed producer. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013
