Natalie's Score: 93/100

One of my favourite cool-climate Australian Pinot Noirs! This one is from the island of Tasmania, where founder Josef Chromy established his winery in 2007 at the ripe age of 76. This offers seductive aromas of black cherry, smoke and spice. Satin texture with a long finish. Try it with duck comfit.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled lamb chops, stuffed veal tenderloin, roast rabbit.

Reviews and Ratings

From Tasmania, Josef Chromy's 2017 Pinot Noir is a cool-climate juicy, dry PN with tart juicy red cherry, earthy spice, dried herbs and smoky flavours on the palate. Nicely balanced and a perfect pairing to roast duck. Josef Chromy founded his winery in 2007 when he was 76. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
