Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 14th, 2017 with neighbours. Colour medium ruby red, medium legs. Aromas of raspberry, black cherry, plum. Taste, medium dry, nice fruit, smooth tannins and pleasant finish. Easy to drink crowd pleaser. Matched with cheese tray and BBQ.
Also try the 815 Cabernet Sauvignon.
From the Columbia Valley in Washington, Joel Gott's Washington (2014) is reminiscent of cherry pie! Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Malbec red wine grapes from the Red Mountain, Walla Walla Valley and Horse Heaven Hills were sourced in the Columbia Valley for this wine. Desert-like conditions in the winter and spring, when hot days are followed by cool nights thanks to the nearby Blue Mountains all add character and complexity to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews
