Crisp and mouth-watering with green apple acidity. Medium-bodied and clean. This Pouilly-Fuissé from Burgundy is opulent and elegant with white peach, apple pie, cinnamon, anise, flinty flavours on the palate and a zesty lemon citrus finish. This is the négociant label of the Vincent family, owners of Château de Fuissé. From one of Burgundy's warmer regions (Pouilly-Fuissé), this Chardonnay balances elegance and opulence. Pair with turkey dinner.

Pouilly-Fuissé food pairings: smoked whitefish and salmon cakes, mussels steamed in their own juice, smoked salmon pizza with goat cheese and sautéed sweet onion.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pouilly Fuisse, a wonderful jewel in the Macon area produces this reasonably priced Burgundian Chardonnay.
This wine is medium-to-full, with lots of ripe orchard fruit, some not so subtle malolactic and oak, and a lean, lemony finish.
This producer, like many in Bourgogne, is a negotiant. That means that they have multiple agreements with growers to supply fruit. This is how the majority of the wine is made and marketed, here. That is what happens when land is scarce, but demand is high!
J.J. Vincent's Marie-Antoinette Pouilly-Fuissé is mouth filling and mouth-watering with green apple acidity. This is the négociant label of the Vincent family, owners of Château de Fuissé. Elegant and satisfying with ripe peach, apple dumpling and spice flavours on the palate. Perfect for turkey dinner. - Community Wine Reviews
